What is CHA?
CHA, Congreso Hubenil Aruba, is a yearly congress for the young people of this island, organised together by Aruba's churches. It has run for eleven years. The shape is simple and it has not changed much: gather the youth, teach them something worth carrying, and worship together in one room.
The workshops are for ages 12 to 25. The worship nights are for everyone: come alone, come with your youth group, come with your family, bring a friend who has never set foot in a church.
CHA is not one congregation's event. Pastors and youth leaders from across the island plan it together, host it in their buildings and send their young people to it. If your church is not involved yet and wants to be, get in touch.

Many churches, many backgrounds, many personalities, one flame and one purpose. It is what the three days are built to make real rather than just say.

Over the three days
Two things happen and they are separate. Workshops fill the Friday and Saturday mornings at Iglesia Peniel, 9:00am to 1:00pm, for ages 12 to 25, free to join. Worship fills all three evenings at Iglesia Maranatha, 7:30pm to 10:00pm, free and open to everyone of any age with no registration at all.

What holds it together
One body, one Spirit, one hope. The congress exists because unity is not an idea to agree with, it is a room to sit in. Jesus is at the centre of all of it, and everyone is welcome at the table.
